Bouteloua (commonly known as gramas) is a genus of grass in the Poaceae family. It was named by Mariano Lagasca y Segura in honor of botanists, Claudio Boutelou and Esteban Boutelou, two Spanish botanists from the 19th century. The members are native from Canada to South America, with a more abundant amount of species in the United States.

Species, such as B. aristidoides, B. barbata, B. gracilis, and B. curtipendula are commonly considered as weeds. Other species are important for grazing, such as B. curtipendula, B. gracilis, and B. hirsuta.
