Brugmansia aurea (Angel's Trumpet) is a species of flowering plant in the Solanaceae family. It is endemic to Ecuador, but is also found in Colombia and Venezuela. It is commonly cultivated because of its golden-colored, scented flowers.
This species is a small tree or shrub, growing 10-15 ft tall. Its flowers are golden-colored, and grow between 10 and 16 in. All parts of the plant are toxic.
It can withstand short frosts, and grows best in locations under 32F. To grow with the best results, the plant will need to grow in partial shade. Watering it regularly is recommended.
