Cylindropuntia arbuscula or the Pencil Cholla is a cactus belonging to the Caryophyllales order. This specific cactus will grow up to 9 feet tall. Their flowers are 1 1/2 inches wide and red, bronze, golden-brown, or yellow-green. The fruits are fleshy, and colored green to yellowish which often have a red tinge. Per areole, there are usually 0-4 spines.
