Edward W. Berry was an American botanist and paleobotanist. He studied flora of North America, and South America, and published several theoretical reconstructions of paleoecology and phytogeography. At John Hopkins University, he held various positions, such as teacher, research scientist, scientific editor, and administrator.

When citing a botanical name, Edward W. Berry is abbreviated as E.W.Berry, and less commonly Berry.
