Geum pentapetalum, or the Aleutian Avens is a species of plant in the Rosaceae family. It is native to Asia in Japan, Kamchatka, and the Aleutian Islands.
Description[]
It is a perennial shrub growing up to 20 cm in height. The flowers are hermaphroditic, and are pollinated by insects. They flower from July to August.

The root is used against repetitive fevers.
